Local film THE CHANGE AGENTS is back by popular demand on February 2nd, with 7pm & 9pm screenings in Nelson and February 16th, 7pm at the Amnesty International Film Festival in Castlegar.

The film is the coming-of-age story of 17-year old Doukhobor, Carly Dutoff, who is vocal about the impacts of climate change, especially the impact of the tar sands development on Canada’s fresh water supply. Amidst family difficulties, she and her peers speak up for a planet in peril, eventually inspiring their community to change.

Since its premiere in November, there have been numerous requests for screenings around the Kootenays, BC, Alberta, in Eastern & Northern Canada, China, Indonesia & the U.S.

Tickets $8 students/seniors, $10 adults.
